Assistant Service Manager

Job description:

The assistant service manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Service manager in overseeing daily operations, managing service technicians, and ensuring the highest quality of service delivery. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and exceptional customer service acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and supervising service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Conduct quality control inspections on completed work to maintain high standards of service excellence.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, and company policies during service operations.
  • Support in evaluating technician performance and providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Possess a willingness to study, learn, train, and improve personally.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and software.
  • HVAC certification and/or relevant trade qualifications preferred.
