Terms & Conditions for Rooted in Comfort Contest
By entering this contest, entrants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the contest, participants must follow the Rooted in Comfort Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/RootedInComfort) and comment on the contest post by nominating a nurse you believe deserves recognition. By submitting a nomination, you represent and warrant that:
- The individual you are nominating is a current or former nurse (including, but not limited to, an RN, LPN/LVN, APRN, NP, or other licensed nursing professional).
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You have permission to share the nominee’s name, if required.
Crown Group Ohio reserves the right to verify a selected nominee’s eligibility and nursing status before awarding any prize. If a selected nominee cannot be verified as an eligible nurse or is otherwise determined to be ineligible, Crown Group Ohio may disqualify that entry and select an alternate winner.
By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Terms & Conditions and all decisions made by the sponsor, which are final.
ELIGIBILITY: This contest is open to legal residents of Ohio who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Crown Group Ohio (including its subsidiaries), their immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, child, and their respective spouses, regardless of residency), and individuals living in the same household, as well as employees of the company’s affiliates, partners, and advertising agencies, are not eligible to enter or win. The contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Crown Group Ohio reserves the right to disqualify entries at its sole discretion for reasons including, but not limited to, inappropriate content, offensive language, or automated entries.
WINNER SELECTION: One (1) potential winner will be selected on 7/20/2026 from all eligible entries received throughout the period of 7/11/2026, until 7/18/2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the period.
PRIZES: Total value of all prizes is approximately $250 USD. Prize distribution includes:
- Two (2) tickets to "Nurse John" on 11/7/26 at the Akron Civil Theatre
- $100 Gift Card to El Patron Tequileria in Akron
Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions are allowed. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes or fees.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winner will be notified by the official Rooted in Comfort Facebook page via Facebook Messenger within three (3) business days of the drawing. Notifications will be sent twice, approximately 24 hours apart. If a winner does not respond within 24 hours of receiving the second notification, they will forfeit their prize, and an alternate winner will be selected using the same process as the original drawing.
Once a winner has been confirmed, they must provide their contact information (including a valid email address and phone number) via Facebook Messenger to facilitate the prize distribution. This information will be used exclusively for prize-related purposes.
Prizes will be distributed within five (5) business days of winner confirmation. By entering the contest, participants grant Crown Group Ohio the right to use submitted content (e.g., contest entry photos) for promotional purposes, subject to the terms outlined in the company’s Privacy Statement.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Crown Group Ohio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest for any reason. Entrants agree to release Crown Group Ohio, its partners, affiliates, and employees from any liability related to participation, prize acceptance, or use. Crown Group Ohio is not responsible for technical failures, errors, or fraudulent activity that may impact participation. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent will be disqualified.
IMPERSONATION WARNING: This contest is managed by Crown Group Ohio through the Rooted in Comfort Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/RootedInComfort). We will never ask you to click a link, provide personal details, or share credit card information to complete your entry. Report any suspicious accounts impersonating Rooted in Comfort immediately.
